why alcohols are higher boiling compounds than hydrocarbons of corresponding molecular mass but have lower boiling points than corresponding phenols?​

alcohols have a higher bp than hydrocarbons becz of tge intermolecular hydrogen bonding in alcohols whereas this is not possible in hydrocarbons of corresponding molecular mass.

phenols have a more stronger bonds than alcohols becz of resonance and hence they have more bp
