Why alcohols easily Protonated than phenols?

because alcohol belongs to hydroxyl functional groups

In phenol the lone pair of electrons on oxygen involves in delocalization not available free for the protonation. Whereas in alcohol, the electrons on oxygen atom are not delocalized so they available for protonation.
