why alkyl halides are better solvent and aryl halides

Hello mate

This is because pf the presence of aromatic ring in aryl halid which is hydrophobic and large . Therefore it is less soluble.

hybridized carbon is more electronegative

compare to so raised to the power 3 hybridized carbon atom , hence Arly halides

are less popular than ally halides. Due to less

popular nature of aryl halides compare to alkyl

halides , they are insoluble in polar solvent

like water...
