why alkyne is SP hybridization

Bcoz the three double bond present in alkyne are formed by hybridization of one s and one p orbital

use the concept of sp hybridization to account for the formation of carbon-carbon triple bonds, and describe a
carbon-carbon triple bond as consisting of one σ bond and two π bonds.
in similar way, Carbon carbon single bond have a sp3 hybridization (methane-CH4). Carbon carbon double(alkenes) bond contains Sp² hybridization (propene etc).
on the other hand , Carbon carbon triple bond (alkynes) have Sp hybridization.
eg:- propyne,acetylene, pentyne...etc
