It is easy to say that everyone should be treated equally but in practice it is never usually seen taking place.
In any society there tend to be social divisions amongst the people. Many a times discriminations takes place against the people of one social division. This could be sex, religion, caste, race, etc.
The reasons for this discrimination depend on the society.

All are not treated equally as there lies a lot of gender discrimination in our India.
Also there are many reasons for it .....
1) poverty - poverty is the basic reason which leads to inequality . People those who are poor are usually mean minded and also many times do a lot of injustice with the girl child in comparison to boy child here arises gender discrimination and then conflicts in our society.
2) corruption - corruption leads to changing of sides , here also there's a great role of poverty as poverty only leads to corruption , here proper judgement isn't given as the judges themselves are with people who are rich means at the side of corruption .
3) Media - media too gives a helping hand here , by spreading false news, fake news , giving stupid bad comments about great personalities , destroying good images of great personalities.
Due to this people also set the same thinking in their mind and then inequality is promoted.
Rich people get more value than poor ones , even if riches are illiterate and poors are litterate.
There's a great discrimination regarding caste , creed , religion ,sex etc.......
People divide themselves on the name of title , this is only the main reason India suffered from British rule and still it's very backward country and needs to develop more.
People discriminate others on the name of states , countries , territories etc...... which is really bad and shameful .
We are same and equal.
So this is what I except from our generation that we would not discriminate people like this and would consider everyone equal and would never be docile as our primitives were. .........
