As in structure of benzene there are both single and double C-C bonds.

Thus, π electron is deloclised equally in all CC bonds.

So,,

In resonance hybrid there are mixture of single and double bonds so, all the

C-Cbonds in benzene have average length of C-Csingle and double bonds.
