Why all the planets do not collapse into sun instead of rotating around it?

Due to space time curve, the planets curve the space and float in space. They float because sun ( a very massive body) has curved the space ( when you put a heavy ball on a piece of cloth it gets down, same is the case for sun. When you will throw a light ball into that cloth, the 2nd ball will rotate in circular path around the 1st heavy ball). Same thing is happening with planets.
