Why alluvial soil of coastal region r black in color?

because black soil is in -situ soil . it is formed by westhering of solidified lava relesed during volcano eruption . when lava solidify it is black in colour . so soil formed of it is also black .

Alluvial soil of coastal reason is black in colour due to the darkness of the sediments that are present in the rivers and mixes with the soil,also the alluvial soil brought from the Deccan reason has chemicals present due to the  dirt that is formed in the river by the factories present out there.
