aluminium does not corrode easily because it reacts with atmospheric oxygen to form a thin layer of aluminium oxide over it . This layer prevents further corrosion of aluminium and does not react with food also therefore we can use it for wrapping purposes
Aluminium is a good conductor of heat but a bad radiator of heat so when we wrap hot food in the aluminium foil it keep the food warm. Hence it is not harmful for us. However, we should not pack pickle in aluminium foil as it contains citric acids, which reacts with Al foil and hence can harm us.
