hey mate your answer plz mark as brainlist if ihas correct sir
Metals other than zinc are not used in th laboratory preparation of hydrogen gas. ... Due to this, impurities like hydrogensulphide and sulphur dioxide gas are produced. (v) Lead cannot be usedbecause it reacts with dilute sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid to form salts.

Aluminium can easily be used to produce hydrogen gas by reacting it with hydrochloric acid. The reaction is as follows:
2Al + 6HCl = 2AlCl3 + 3H2
Even Aluminium can be reacted with conc. solution of a base like NaOH to produce hydrogen. The reaction is as follows:
2Al + 2NaOH + 6H2O = 2Na[Al(OH)4] + 3H2
2Al + 6HCl = 2AlCl3 + 3H2

2Al + 2NaOH + 6H2O = 2Na[Al(OH)4] + 3H2
