Why aluminium sheet do not corrode easily why does a copper vessel get corroded with a green coating in rainy season?

Aluminium when reacts with air forms aluminium oxide which protects the underlying metal from further oxidation . This is not porous and flaky like rust and it can acts like a film or protective cover which protects the metal.

because it reacts with air to form (al2o3) aluminum oxide being high affinity to oxygen and prevent corrosion
