We know that amoeba cannot move on its own, and it move with the help of psedopodia which is simply an extension of cells in the direction in which it want to move.
In order to form psedopdia amoeba has special cells which are irregular in shape so that their cytoplasm can easily protude in any direction. Since the cells of amoeba are irregular so an amoeba as a whole is also irregular in shape.
HOPE YOU GET IT.
