why ameoba is considered as it doesn't die as it is also termed as immortal? why is that so if then , then we can also say that everyone on this earth is mortal but ameoba doesn't die it just divides

ameoba is a unicellular organism ok..
it reproduces by binary fission that means it divides into to daughter cells when it becomes old enough.
