Japan was on the side of Germany and US on the side of Allies. Japan attacked Pearl Harbour in Hawaii. It wanted to expand its empire, but US stopped this by releasing 2 atom bombs. But this was a very bad revenge for a country Japan who already suffers from earthquakes every now and then. Japan still suffers the pains and effects of those 2 atom bombs.
