Why amides are more acidic then amine?

In the case of amides (RCONH2) , the amine group which is bonded with a carbonyl group and due to the high electronegtivity of oxygen, NH2 group involve in resonance which in turn make it less basuc or more acidic, while in amines(RNH2, nitrogen has a lone pair of electrons which accept protons making it more basic hence, amides are more acidic than amines.
