Hey Mate
In the larval stage, the circulation in amphibians is similar to that of a fish with the two-chambered heart and through the gills. In the adult stage, amphibians (especially frogs) develop lungs. They have a three-chambered heart (one ventricle and two atria). They have mucus glands and it sometimes acts the first line of defence (e.g., salamanders and frogs), allow ease in swallowing and helps in carrying out other important activities. They lack scales, instead have highly cornified outer layers.
