Why "Amrita Devi Bishnoi National Award for wildlife Conservation " has been instituted by Government of India ?

Because,amrita devi fought against the cutting of trees and sacrifice his life for deforestion(cutting down of trees).so,to honour her indian goverment gives award every year to people who acheive in wild life conservation.
