iron nail is only made up of metal this it's density is more than water so it sinks
but on other hand
ship is also made up of metal but it also contains air so it's volume is more thus it's density is less than water so it floats

saibhuse: l think surface area is responsi
yashasvi019: can be
yashasvi019: but see that they have different masses
yashasvi019: and density depends upon mass and volume
saibhuse: ok
