because of our eye, in our retina there is million a thing that gives us ability to find the difference between colours so that is why object appears colored

Rods in our eyes are responsible for this in biology but in physics,

the particular object reflects light and as we know white colour has it 7 colors and it also absorbs, reflects and refract light hence the object appear coloured
