Hiiii Herpreet,

here is your answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is due to that resonance, the electron density on the nitrogen atom which acquires a position charge. The lone pair of electrons originally present on nitrogen - atom get delocalised on the benzene ring due these reason they are less available for protonation.

therefore, aniline is less basic than ammonia and ethyl amine.
