HETEROTROPS ARE THOSE ORGANISM THAT CAN'T MAKE GOOD OF THEIR OWN. THEY DEPEND ON AUTOTROPS FOR THEIR NOURISHMENT. ANIMALS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE HETEROTROPS AS THEY CANNOT MAKE FOOD BY THEIR OWN. THEY DEPEND ON PLANTS , WHICH MAKE FOOD BY THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
