Forests also provide habitat for a vast array of plants and animals, many of which are still undiscovered. They protect our watersheds. They inspire wonder and provide places for recreation. They supply the oxygen we need to survive.

Since there are many plant eaters there are many predators as well to feast on them. ... The forest provides protection from not only predators but also from the weather. For animals equipped to survive there the forest is an excellent place to live.
