HEY BRO!!
Antibiotics are used for those patients which have a bacterial disease like common cold and flu.
as the name suggests Anti - biotics which are made to stop the reproduction of "only bacterias" in a body. they do not cause any damages to viruses which have powerful cell wall.
nonetheless.... we do have ANTI VIRAL drugs which may prevent the growth of viruses.
