Since the antibiotics Which are made against bacteria kill the bacteria by exhibiting the cell wall synthesis and by stopping the ribosomal function
e.g Penicillin Erythromycin etc....
Since Viruses have different structure as compared to bacteria so they are only effective against bacteria

Antibiotics are usually made up of microorganisms . These microorganisms kill or stop the growth of disease-causing microorganisms . But , viruses are stronger than these microorganisms and therefore , even if we take antibiotics , they would have no effect against these viruses . That's why antibiotics made of Bacteria aren't effective in Viral Diseases .
