I might tell that your question is totally wrong because antibiotics are used to prevent bacterial infections.

But lets ask something like "why antibiotics are not used for killing viral infections?

it is because bacteria has cell wall that the antibiotic will prevent the process of building of cell wall and it will kill bacteria.

But virus does not have cell wall. so antibiotics won't work against virus. it is also because virus use our cell as their life.
