Antibiotics are only used for bacterial diseases only because they makepathways so antibiotics damage or break them and cure the diseasebut viruses do not make pathways and they are only active inside the body.

1. Antibiotic blocks the biochemical pathways which is important for bacteria example :- penicillin

2.Many bacteria make cell wall to protect themselve

3. The antibiotic penicillin blocks the blocks the bacterial process that build cell wall

4. As a result, the growing bacteria become unable to make cell wall and die easily

5. therefore antibiotic works against the bacteria and not against viruses
