So he is sad. Some say he is sad because Bassanio is going to marry Portia. ... He said Antonio's sadness is due to he is aging and he would like to mess with young people like Bassanio. So from this point his love to Bassanio is more like a father to a son.

There are lots of clever answers to be found here but the best supported by the text is that Antonio is anxious about his overseas ventures.
He denies this explanation, of course, by saying that he has not overextended himself, but that turns out to be untrue. He can't lend money to Bassanio because, he admits, all of his money is tied up in expeditions. And later Shylock confirms that his cash flow is dubious. And when the ships don't come in he can't pay his debts.
All this seems to suggest that he is lying when he says he is not worried about finances and merchandise.
