We know that plant need carbon dioxide, minerals,sunlight,etc for a plant to grow. But in desert area only one thing available that is Sunlight. so any plant can't grow. But when we talk about apple tree then we can say that it can not grow in desert area because apples grow in cold area like Dargeeling, Sikkim, etc.
