Volatile liquids, as the name says, the are volatile and can easily evaporate even in the room temperature.
If volatile liquids like nail shade remover, alcohol, spirit, perfumes are exposed to the environment in even normal room temperature, they evaporate and no more stay as liquids.
So to prevent them from evaporating they are kept in air tight jars or containers so that they are not exposed to the surrounding.
