The signals transmitted at higher frequencies
5G mm waves have signals that are transmitted at higher frequencies which is why it is more likely to be blocked by physical barriers such as walls, buildings, and trees.
1. High-frequency bands have shorter wavelengths and thus can move only a small distance. This makes it tougher for them to not get affected by physical barriers.
2. To function smoothly, these 5G mm waves will require a much larger number of cell stations that might be smaller in size
3. Lower frequency bands, even though provide a network that is slower than the higher ones are more secure when it comes to crossing physical barriers
