Sol:
The germ cells of sexually reproducing populations are made in specialized reproductive tissue. Change in non-reproductive tissues, on account of acquired traits, cannot be passed on to the DNA of the germ cells. Therefore, experience gained or traits acquired during the life-time of an individual not inherited. For example, Offspring of an hockey player may not be a hockey player.

Hence acquired traits cannot be passed on to next generation.

acquired traits are the traits that are acquired by a human during its own life.

these changes are not in the genes of a person .therefore they are not inherited

only the changes that occurs in the genes of a person are inherited
