Why are allylic radicals more stable when compared to alkyl radicals?

Answer: Allylic radicals are more stable as compared to alkyl hallides because allylic radicals are resonance stablized and alkyl radical itself is very unstable.

Due resonance phenomenon on allyl radical it become more stable as delocelisation of electron takes place but there is no such phenomenon in alkyl radical .
