why are animal activists against the silk production??​

Because the process of silk production is violent. The silkworms inside their cocoon are boiled alive. And then the silk fibres are isolated.

The isolation of silk cannot be possible it the silk moth has already ruptured the cocoon and flies away.

Because of the above reasons the animal activists are against silk production and moreover we are on the production of synthetic silk fibres.
