Why are animal cells flexible whereas plant cells are rigid

Animal cells are flexible because they do not have a rigid cell wall...and because plants cell have cell wall therefore they are rigid in shape

The cell wall of the plant is made up of cellulose and pectin, that are arranged in a definite manner in order to make plant cell rigid and provide structure to the plant. While the animal cells do not contain a cell wall that is why they are flexible. They have cell membrane as an external boundary, which is protectiveness and mosaic.
