why are archaebacteria placed ina kingdom separate from eubacteria

Answer:

The reason that Archae were determined to be a separate (and only the third kingdom) was because Archae oftenly completely resemble with eubacteria. But fungi and other eukaryotes are more similar to Archae than the bacteria
