why are arteries deep seated in the body?

Arteries are the blood vessels carry the oxygenated blood away from the heart to different parts of the body. Arteries have thick muscular walls but have no valves.

Arteries are deep seated to prevent them from any damage. Arteries carry oxygenated blood from heart to all parts of the body.
