why are arteries deep seated whereas veins are found on the surface in the body??

Arteries are deep seated to prevent them from damage. ... arteries carry oxygen rich blood and loss of oxygenated blood can prove detrimental to our body. while veins are located superficially as the pressure inside them is very low and it contains de-oxygenated blood.
