Why are be able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup?

The uppermost surface of tea or milk will be greater in saucer than a cup, hence evaporation occurs faster in saucer than a cup. As we know that evaporation cause a cooling effect, therefore, tea or milk gets cool faster in a saucer than a cup. This is the reason why we can sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer than a cup.
