Why are birds warm blooded animals??

birds are warm blooded animals because they have wings for fly. Wings uses more energy. And also they are the only group of animalia who flies.

since the birds generate the heat theirselves to keep their body warm without depending on environmental conditions, they are referred as warm blooded animals.
