why are both turtle and snake kept in the same class

Bhoomicca: They are kept in same class because they are cold-blooded animals. They contains scales on their body. They lay eggs to continue their generation. They usually have three chambered heart. Another is they are amphibians i.e. they live both on land and in water.

they both belong to same class reptilia because they are cold blooded, 3 chamberd heart , lay eggs , have scales, breath through lungs
