Budding, fragmentation and regeneration are all considered as types of Asexual Reproduction as these processes do not involve the formation of gametes, require only a single parent and produce a new organisms only through mitotic divisions.But no sex cells are involved in a sexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction in the simplest method of reproduction.
For e.g - Budding in Hydra, fragmentation in Spirogyra, regeneration in planaria.

Budding, fragmentation and regeneration are considered as asexual types of reproduction because gamete formation does not happen during these modes of reproduction and a single parent carries out the process of reproduction
