why are cardiac muscles involuntary

The cardiac muscles are involuntary and do not get tired or fatigued because blood needs to be constantly pumped throughout the body and these muscles also have straiations which allow them to pass the contractions from one muscle fibre to another. If heart had voluntary muscles then we would be able to control it at will and reduce/increase our heartbeat on our own which is not possible
