Cattle and goats are not seen browsing on calotropis because Calotropis produces the highly poisonous cardiac glycosides.

Browsing of cattle and goat on Calotropis is an unusual occasion.

Rather they are never seen to browse on these grasses as these type of grass is highly toxic and  they produce  poisonous chemicals like cardiac glycosides, nicotine, caffeine, quinine, strychnine, opium, etc.

Which provides them protection against grazers. Cows can sense their poisonous effect hence they never graze of them.
