why are cell organelles bound in shape?

The shapes of cells have evolved to

help them carry out their specific function

in the body, so looking at a cell's shape

can give clues about what it does.

Answer:Cell organelles are the little organs of a cell. They are bound in shape so that they can be in their position and perform their respective functions. Also so that their contents may not come in the cytoplasm.

for example, mitochondria is a cell organelle where the cell respiration occurs to release energy and which stored in the form of ATP(adenosine triphosphate). To keep this energy molecule inside the mitochondria it has bound surfaces. It also has some structures called cristae which remains in mitochondria only and cannot come in the fluid of the cytoplasm.
