Cells build tissues, which form organs; and organs work together to keep the organism alive. Robert Hook first discovered cells in 1665. He gave them their name because they resembled the cella (Latin for “small rooms”) where monks lived in monasteries.

we know that cells are the basic fundamental unit of life which can't be divided further
Cells Combine to form tissue
tissue combines to form organs
organs combine to form Organisms
that's the reason behind the name of cell
