Why are certain compounds called hydrocarbons? Write the general formula for homologue series of alkanes,alkenes and alkynes and also draw the structure of the first memberof each series. Write the name of the name of the reaction that converts alkenes into alkanes and also write a chemical equation to show the necesssary condition for reaction to occur.

All compounds and element are called as organic compound because the all compound are contain hydrogen and carbon means hydrocarbon and this is organic compound
