because alloy is has a high melting and boiling point
and whereas pure metal does not have
and alloy is a good conductor of heat
where as pure metal melts when it is heated
alloy emmits heat so it is used in electric toasters and electric irons

b) The conductors of electric heating devices such as bread toasters and electric irons are made of alloy because

◾resistivity of an alloy is more than that of metals.

◾It produces large amount of heat and do not burn easily.
