Why are computers today only able to run windows 10,when computers 20 years ago were able to run as high as windows 98.​

today's computer are program in such a way to handle today's challenges. It's not true that today's computer work only with window 10, there are lots many other operating system as well. and the suffix 10 or 98 is misnomer, in no way window 98 is advance than window 10. efficiency and performance of window 10 is far better than the window 98. Don't be confused with it.
