Lead, copper and iron are used widely these days, this is due to their beneficaial properties such as:: COPPER: Copper is now a days used to make wires and some utensils. This is because of its high melting and boiling point. IRON: Iron is also called the backbone of the industries because it us used to make various machines, without which no industry could work. LEAD: Lead is widely used in manufacture of car batteries, pigments etc. it's also used to store corrosive liquids. It has mass attenuation coefficient, that makes it an excellent shielding material.
