For examples crops like paddy, maize, sorghum, sugarcane, and pearl millets are sown in the months of June-July and harvested in September-October every year.

1 .    Rabi - Wheat, barley, peas, gram, mustard etc.

2. Kharif - Rice, maize, jowar, bajra, tur, moong, cotton, jute, ground nut.

3. Zaid  - Seasonal fruits, vegetables, fodder crops etc.
